I recently bought Michael Daubenspeck's project and have started working
on it. I would like to join the IRSOC and have been combing the website
thoroughly. I don't know what I might contribute, but I have sure benefitted
from the site. My name is Terry Matthews and the ship is ser. no. 855. It will
be registered in Canada as CF-HYD. I am a licensed A.M.E. and own a small
business in Camrose, Alberta, Canada where my son and I take care of some 55
light aircraft and do restoration work. (Picture updated 10-15-2015)
Update! Terry just advised us that 855 flew for the first time today, July 6, 2016! Great job Terry! CF-HYD S/N 855 |

TIMOTHY MAU Timothy J. Mau 5792 Lago Del Sol Drive Lake Worth FL 33467 timmau@aol.com Just wanted to get you a
pic of 29K and get listed on your
site. I have flown her from Florida to NY to OH to NY
to OH and back to Florida. Currently based
out of
Lantana airport where there is at least one other Bee to keep us
company. Birds
of a feather seem to flock together as I was based at Lost Nation in Ohio with N681CB.
I have a lot of dolling up work and need to update the radios as well,
but she
is a great flying sound airplane. I am sure I will be in touch a lot as
questions develop.

ROBERT McCARTHY I recently purchased Seabee N6314K S/N 537. I will do a
complete restoration. Please include my personal email address: pilot68@yahoo.com and my location: Farmers
Branch, Texas. I also purchased a parts plane that has the Daubenspeck STC No: SA282NW installed and hope to locate someone that has the original drawings and installation instructions for this STC. I understand that Mr. Daubenspeck passed away years ago, I have been trying to contact someone, but have had no luck. If I’m able to locate the installation drawings I may be able to have an FAA DER approve installation on to S/N 537. N6314K S/N 537 |

frankmccutcheon@gmail.comWe recently purchased Seabee N6488K Serial #750 from the Estate of William Whitney (I also bought his 1947 Stinson 108-2). The aircraft is currently still at his home on a small Lake in NH. I need to find an airworthy propeller in order to get the annual done and fly it out of there. It has a 2 blade prop with Hartzite blades. If I can't find something in the next few weeks then I will remove the wings and trailer it out so I can start working on it. I'd like to be listed on the Seabee owners site and to get involved in the community. I will be moving the plane to a hangar in Biddeford, Maine to get the work done and once it is flying again It will spend summers in the New England area Maine, NH, CT and winters in Florida. RUSSELL McDONALD Meseum Unit 3, Box 13
Wasilla, AK 99654Phone: (907) 357-5049 H (907) 355-5079 C I figured I would update you as to where Seabee S/N 110 is at. It is located in Wasilla Alaska, I have purchased (May,2007) the Bee after it sat out for 30+ years and plan on a ground up rebuild with a V-8 installed. Not much luck with the FAA guys on the V-8 conversion and getting it under Experimental - Amateur Built, but hope to find a way to work that out. Any help on that would be welcomed. Not good photos but when I get it out and cleaned it up a bit will send more. Also have another Bee but not sure of the S/N yet will let you know when I figure it out. Hope to have most parts for one good Bee between the two of them. |
