TIM LAARMAN & TOM BIRD 320 East Buffalo Milwaukee, Wisconsin 53202 t57bird@msn.com Tom purchased his Seabee in 1993 and flew the restored Bee for the first time in August 2000. He was assisted, in the restoration, by his cousin Tim Laarman, a partner in Guntly Aircraft Repair. He has flown it about 25 hours and had only one"wheels up" landing. Hasn't everyone?(smile) N10198

MIKE LUSH (sold to Dave Bloyd)
Mike's Seabee is totally refurbished and Mike says:
"The old BEE has 200 hours of trouble free flying under her spray rails now, since restoration and Corvette engine installation. Performed beyond all expectations!!!" Update: Mike took the Glenn Curtiss award at the annual Kauka Lake Splash-In in September of 2005! I guess his Seabee is done. Congratulations Mike! Update to the update: Mike and his wife were at the 2006 Curtiss Seaplane Homecoming and the interior is spectacular! It is truly a work of art. (Steve - for the IRSOC) C-FDOQ (N6657K) S/N 934 |
